Stonegate neighbors might like to know that my husband, Jim Davis, participated in Honor Flight on May 11th, 2016.  Honor Flight was established to honor veterans from past wars by flying them to Washington D.C. for the day.  It is  a special day filled with music, viewing the monuments, much flag waving and many accolades.  The veterans leave from Midway airport at 4:00 a.m. and return at approx. 8:30 that night. 

Jim was a corporal in the army stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri.  Another neighbor, our friend Eloise Brittain, participated in Honor Flight a few years ago as a navy veteran.
