Safety and Courtesy: The diversity of the lot layouts throughout our neighborhood brings both charm and challenges when it comes to the placement of plant material near the edge of the roads. Winter is a great time to do a more aggressive trim back of any shrubs or tree branches that block line of sight distances or that might over extend into the street so as to scratch cars or people as they drive or walk by your property. This activity done in the fall will allow the new growth to fill in evenly in the spring, making the trimming less noticeable. Consider being polite as to allow pedestrians a safe passage near your property while walking. Making the neighborhood safe is everyone’s job.
Litter and Poop: We appreciate your help with litter. It is amazing how great our neighborhood looks and all your work is noticed. Animal poop is unhealthy, illegal and disgusting to think about with all the children we have playing on the parkways. Please pick up after your pets.
